Ash Guevara is The Examination’s consulting technology officer.
Ash is also the IT Manager for the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting and previously worked at the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), helping hundreds of journalists worldwide understand how to be secured and connected for projects like Lunda Leaks, FinCEN Files, and Implant Files.
Ash has worked extensively with SecureDrop, a tool created by Freedom of the Press Foundation as a means of engaging anonymously with sources and leaked data that have led to global investigations. Ash has a passion for tinkering, memes, teaching, and learning.
