The Examination is a new investigative news outlet covering all things tobacco, from how cigarettes are marketed and sold to the emergence of newer products like vapes and nicotine pouches.

So far, our journalists have uncovered how tobacco companies have undermined health policy in China and Kenya, and how industry money has funded pro-vaping groups in Latin America.

Earlier this year, our journalists traveled to  Panama to report on the biannual gathering to strengthen the World Health Organization’s Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, a global tobacco treaty signed by most of the world’s countries. The treaty still faces fierce industry resistance and we’re continuing to follow this story.  What do you think we should report on next?  You can fill out this form to share your tips, ideas and advice.

Thank you for taking the time to get in touch. We will not publish your name or any part of your response without your permission. Please include your contact information so we can follow up.
